All our products are put through IMI, in process and final strenuous testing procedures in our testing lab which is equipped with all necessary testing equipments. Further, we have been continuously improving upon our dealing process and machinery in order to keep a pace with the ever changing advanced technology. We conduct some major tests on the raw materials which we buy from the vendors in order to maintain the quality of the products manufactured by us.

Following are the raw materials & tests which are conducted on them while buying:

I. Conductor: We conduct tests on conductors as per IS : 8130 : 1984 standards. Apart from these tests, we also perform some of the following tests on the requirement of the clients:

• Conductor Resistance: These test are conducted to see the 100% resistance with the help of Kelvin Double Bridge for a wire up to 0.4 mm Diameter. The test on finer wires is done by sampling of 10% on lot basis.
• Conductor Elongation: The results should be 100% on Tensile Testing machine for wires up to 0.4mm Diameter. Finer wires are tested by sampling of 10% on lot basis.
• Solder Bath / Persulphate: 100% for wires up to 0.4mm. Diameter Fine wires are tested by sampling of 10% on lot basis.
• Wrapping Test: These tests are done only on Aluminum conductors and 100% wrapping is dome manually.
• Tensile Strength: We check the raw materials for getting 100% results of tensile strength on tensile testing machine only for Aluminum.

II. P.V.C Compound / Polyethylene / Polymers: We conduct tests on P.V.C Compound/ Polyethylene/ Polymers as per relevant specification. First of all, we run the samples of these raw materials on trial basis and conduct following tests on them:

• Insulation Resistance: The test is done with Mega Ohms Meter
• Elongation: This test is done with Tensile Testing Machine
• High Voltage Test: High Voltage Test is conducted with High voltage tester
• Thermal Stability Test: Thermal stability test is done with Oven & PH Paper
• Oxygen & Temperature Index: These tests are conducted for FRLS PVC / FRHF compounds with the help of Oxygen Test Apparatus
• Smoke Density Test: We use smoke Density Test Apparatus for doing test on FRLS PVC / FRHF compounds
• HCL Gas Generation Test : These tests are also conducted on FRLS PVC / FRHF compounds with HCL Gas Emission Test Apparatus.
• Swedish Chimney Test: We test FRLS PVC / FRHF compounds with Swedish Chimney Test Apparatus.

Apart from all these tests, we conduct some of the following tests on monthly basis:

• Bleeding and Blooming Test: These tests are conductes with bleeding and blooming tape as well as HST oven
• Ageing: Ageing test is done with Ageing oven
• Hot Deformation: This test is done with Hot Deformation Apparatus
• Tests of Conductor as per IS : 8130 (Type II)
• Tests of insulation– IS:5831:1984 (Type a)
• Final test of FRLS PVC insulated wires is carried out as general purpose electrical PVC Wires in addition of FRLS Tests as per ASTM D-2843 & 2863, IEC- 754- I and BICC Hand Book Chapter– VI
• Final test of Flame Retardant Halogen Free Compound Insulated Wires are carried out as IEC- 332-1 & 3, IEEE- 383, IEC- 754- 1 & 2, ASTM- D 2843 & 2863
